And a Big Announcement
Remember this name: Tarina Tarantino. I can use up all the space in this blog to tell you why you should love her, but the simple truth is that she’s really cool and one of the most talented accessory designers in the world. Period. From pink buddhas to Hello Kitty for kids (and adults!), everything in her collection is like something from your more stylish older sister’s closet. That you steal then never give back. Got a girlfriend you are trying to drag into the 21st century? Tarina gift. Check out some of her stuff here: http://www.shessavvy.com/store/default.asp?catid=2411
Now onto my two favorite topics, and I’m being serious here: jeans and music. This is where the Big Announcement comes in, so pay attention, we’re on a timeline. The simple, straightforward Big Announcement is this: from now through May 4th (alternately known as Stacie’s Birthday), 10% of ALL denim sales, including online sales, will be donated to the Carter Albrecht Music Foundation. Now, I’ll break it down. May 4th, my birthday, but the gift is really doing something nice for someone else, so that’s why a portion of sales are going to charity. Plus, I’m going to be 35 which means I can no longer claim to be in my lower 30s, but am instead squarely in my mid- thirties and I need a diversion so as to not hyperventilate. ALL denim sales means lines you love for guys and gals: Rock and Republic, True Religion, 1921, William Rast, People’s Liberation, Chip and Pepper, Red Engine. You get the picture. The charity, the Carter Albrecht Music Foundation, is in honor of my childhood friend, all around rock star and amazing person, deep thinker and gentle soul, Carter Albrecht. His mom (a Savvy jean wearer herself) and dad (torch bearer and rock star as well) established the Foundation in honor and memory of a beautiful life. You can check it out at www.CarterAlbrechtMusic Foundation.org .
We’ve always believed that giving back is an integral part of any successful business, and the impact of giving is compounded when you share it with others, and take on something deeply personal. This is both, and we hope you’ll let us help you find the perfect jean, all for a great cause. Start shopping! www.ShesSavvy.com
